J'utilise une version modifiée de DCRAW (origine Dave Coffin qui sert de "base" à de nombreux produits du marché y compris Photoshop ACR).
Ces modifications ont pour origine une équipe de développeurs (espagnols, USA,.. et moi même).
Ce logiciel, bien sûr gratuit, en "ligne de commande" traite la quasi totalité des formats Raw souvent nettement mieux que les logiciels propriétaires.
Il aura bientôt une interface graphique et s'appellera Perfectraw |

J'utilise BibblePro. Et je l'ai payé!
Je dis cela car c'est une indication du prix sans jeu de mot que l'on attache à un logiciel

UFraw (conversion image RAW ... voir DCRAW avec interface graphique et plugin GIMP)
mais aussi:
GraphicConverter et ImageMagick pour des fonctions de traitement en script (conversion, ajout d'élements, modification de paramètres...).
GQview/GraphicConverter pour visualiser les photos d'un répertoire
